Rushford Meadery & Winery

The home of Fine Mead, Wine, and Cider. We began production in 2015 and are open for tasting and sales. We have also planted our vineyard and orchard. The vineyard consists of Petite Pearl, Marquette, Frontenac, St. Pepin, Brianna, and La Crescent vines, while the orchard consists of mostly classic cider apples and some local favorites thrown in for fun like Wolf River and Cortland. Local produce and honey are used when possible.

Ripon’s first winery! Our focus is on using cold hardy grape varieties capable of surviving Wisconsin’s frigid winters. Our wines are an expression of the soil, climate, farming and winemaking practices that provide a sense of place to each wine. You’ll taste our commitment to a quality, Wisconsin grown wine with every sip. Come on over and sample our wines in a relaxed environment.

Now serving pizzas! Our brick oven was made in Italy by a father and son oven building team named Artistica Salernitano. It’s designed for making Neapolitan style pizzas baked at a very high temperature. The oven is 100% wood fired and the average temperature of the floor area where the pizza is baked is 750 degrees while the center of the dome ceiling is around 1,000 degrees. This temperature allows us to bake our pizzas in an average of 90 seconds.
